Our GSA Cubz Rental Mobile System is an authentic, fully restored vintage Garry Stewart (GSA) system.

It is a classic point source ground stack dance mobile system with the legendary classic club sound you know and come to expect from GSA and Caramel.

Its modularity makes it extremely flexible and adaptable to every situations, from a heavy dance floor to a distributed situation, as well as very portable.

It is a fully analogue active 4 or 5 way system designed the way Garry intended it to be. The full 8 stacks system is capable of handling up to 22,000 watts with a frequency range of 34 Hz to 23,000 Hz, a sensitivity of 106 dB and an SPL of up to 133 dB.

In its main configuration, this system is an active 5 way system which main components are GSA tweeter arrays, GSA coaxial Cubz full range speakers, GSA co-designed Transparence scoop subwoofers and TurboSound 818 horn subwoofers.

At the heart of the processing, you will find a GSA X3000 3 way crossover and Urei 1620 music mixer as main Pre-amp.

Amplification is through Crown Macro-Tech amplifiers, the industry original workhorses. Power handling of each stack is up to 2’750 watts, and 22’000 watts for the full four double stack system.

No GSA system would be complete without Tweeters to give you the extra high frequencies. We offer two versions: The classic JBL bullets or the GSA modified DAS.

Because a mobile situation does not always permit for an array to be hung above the dance floor, we offer both the classic hanging arrays, but also the option to incorporate them on top of the stacks.

Frequency Range: 4000 - 23,000 Hz Dispersion Angle: 40 ° Sensitivity: 106 dB Nominal Power Handling: 20 Watts Continuous Power Handling: 80 Watts

The GSA Cubz are a compact, high power, full range coaxial speaker cabinet designed and built by the legendary Garry Stewart and are at the front & center of this system.

They are loaded with a specified dual-driver coaxial speaker containing a 15” LF woofer and a caoxialy mounted 3” HF driver with a sensitivity of 106 db (1 watt @ 1 meter) that is capable of handling 960 watts.

The Coaxial design enable the sound from two drivers to originate from a single source, allowing a wider field of listening and an optimal synchronized summation of the high and low frequencies, creating the most coherent clear sound.

Frequency Range: 45 - 20,000 Hz
Dispersion Angle: 80 °
LF Sensitivity: 99.0 dB
LF Nominal Power Handling: 400 Watts LF Continuous Power Handling: 800 Watts
HF Sensitivity: 106 db HF Nominal Power Handling: 80 Watts
HF Continuous Power Handling: 160 Watts
Crossover point: 1.2 kHz

The NAC-115 is a GSA co-designed back loaded Horn Scoop subwoofer with a sensitivity of 100 db (1 watt @ 1 meter) that is capable of handling 1200 watts and producing an SPL of 133 db.

Scoop subwoofers have a volume output comparable to two speakers in one box, as the front loaded woofer provides direct bass and the rear waves from the speaker cone are augmented and mechanically amplified through the horn of the scoop.

Frequency Range: 34 - 134 Hz Sensitivity: 100 dB
 Nominal Power Handling: 600 Watts
 Continuous Power Handling: 1200 Watts

At the heart of the system’s processing is of course an original classic GSA X3000 “DJ” crossover as the 1st layer of processing of the system. We also use an original Urei 1620 Music Mixer as the primary “pre-amp” of the system, rather it is used as the DJ mixer or not. Together they emphasis the warm and clear classic sound of the system, as designed by Gary Stewart.

Amplification: For amplification, we rely exclusively on the legendary and proven touring and club workhorse Crown Macrotech series.
